After a long winter hike or a ski tour, there is nothing more soothing and pleasant than warming up your sore muscles in a cosy Alpine hut and stacking up on calories with a hearty meal. Even if you’re just in need of a hot beverage or quick snack between descents on the ski pistes or toboggan runs, visiting the huts is an essential part of the experience. Zingerle Hütte (1,740 m)

Cosy, qiant hut serving home-made South Tyrolean dishes such as Schlutzkrapfen, cheese dumplings, sausages, apple strudel and buckwheat cake as well as home-produced farm cheese and butter.

Wieserhütte (1,850 m)

A popular destination for walks and excursion, this cos hut at the end of the Altfasstal valley also be reached with prams and bikes. It´s a traditional alpine farm with its own cheese dairy, and it offers overnight accommodation as well as a bike hire and a natural playground with many animals.

Tschiffernaun Alm (2,215 m)

A cosy, traditional-style alpine hut serving traditional alpine fare with simple, natural, home-made dishes.

Popular South Tyrolean specialties in a quiet location, with hot food served all day long. The hut has a playground and is accessible both on foot and by bike during the summer, while in winter it is right next to the ski slope.

Nesselhütte (2,017 m)

The Nessel hut is located by the Gitschberg lift mountain station and the Sun Park. The menu includes excellent drinks and aperitifs, home-made daily specials and a choice of other delicacies. In winter, it is also directly adjacent to the starting point of the Brimi Winter toboggan run.

A popular destination for families and hikers. Enjoy our home-made South Tyrolean dishes on the large sun terrace – we serve hot food all day. We also have in-house cheese dairy, offering various dairy products including an award-winning semi-hard cheese.

Cosy hut with a large sun terrace and a duck pond. You can drive directly up to the front door! Hot food served daily until 4.00 p.m.

Kröllhütte-Eisbruggalm (2,150 m)

Our hut is situated at an altitude of 2,154 metres, right below the Eisbrugg Lake and at the foot of Mt. Weißzint, with a view of the peaks surrounding the Eisbrugg valley. Easy to reach for young and old, our hut is open in the summer months (from around the end of June to early September).

A cosy mountain restaurant with a playground, set in a peaceful location. Tyrolean fare is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It can be reached by car, even during winter.

Hofschänke Lechnerhof (1,304 m)

Lechnerhof is situated in a sunny spot in the hamlet of Talson, above Margen/Terenten. It is worth a stopover and easily reached on foot, by bike or by car. Heidi will be happy to spoil you with her home-made delicacies. Open from Thursday to Sunday.

Gitschhütte (2,210 m)

Situated right by the new Sun Park recreation area, just 15 minutes from the mountain terminal, this hut features a wonderful sun terrace and a large playground. The menu includes delicious home-made drinks and aperitifs, as well as daily changing specials. The path to the hut is also suitable for prams and mountain bikes.

Gattererhütte (1,739 m)

This hut is both an inspiring starting point for tackling the highest peaks of the Zillertal Alps and a quaint venue for a breather along remote mountain paths, with accommodation for up to 78 people. Traditional South Tyrolean hot food is served throughout the day.

Astner Bergalm (1,640 m)

The Astner Bergalm hut is easy to reach for everyone- whether you got there on foot, b mountain bike, pushing a pram or even on horseback. The playground and the many animals grazing in the pasture are very popular with children. The menu offers a wide choice of traditional South Tyrolean dishes.
