Public transport

For Almencard holders, public transport is free of charge throughout South Tyrol. This includes regional trains, buses, the Mühlbach-Meransen cable car (until 23.03.2025 – replaced by a bus service after that date), the cable cars to Ritten, Jenesien, Mölten and Vöran, the Ritten tram, the Mendel funicular and even the PostAuto Schweiz to Müstair, in Switzerland.

Free shuttle services

You can use your Almencard to travel free of charge on the Almbus shuttle from Mühlbach to the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp and the shuttle to the Gitschberg Jochtal ski resort.
