Mühlbach lies at the entrance to the Puster valley and has been a market community since 1269. The ancient walls, castles and bourgeoisie houses are graphic witness of this. From Mühlbach you are, almost in the blink of an eye, in the beautiful Valser valley and in Spinges with its old farmyards, attractive inns, as well as hotels and its wonderful hiking countryside.
Numerous routes and climbing paths lead up to the wide mountain pastures, where quaint huts withstand weather and time, under the spell of the glaciers of the Zillertaler Alps.
